In this Unit we have looked Theatre in the round, End On, Traverse and Thrust.


End On Theatre













'End On Theatre' is one of the most commonly used type of Theatre. The angles are mainly 45 Degrees. This is normally the set rules.

Theatre in the Round











With Theatre in the Round there is no backlight. The angle are 45 Degrees  

Traverse












When lighting Traverse the beam angle is 120 Degrees instead of 45 Degrees


Thrust Theatre















When lighting Thrust you need to use the same rules as lighting End On and the same as Theatre in the Round. Thrust Theatre is commonly used for catwalk shows.
